Dr. Kyle Allen

Dr. Kyle Allen is the Chief Medical Officer of CareRing Health, joining the healthcare company in 2022 and is involved with community care initiatives, quality of care, and the integration of our in-home healthcare delivery model. Dr. Allen also contributes to government relations and public health advocacy to improve geriatric care at the local, state, and national levels.

Dr. Allen has served patients in numerous healthcare settings for over 30 years, previously as the Chief of Geriatric Medicine and the Medical Director for the Institute for Seniors and Post-Acute Care at Summa Health System. He has also worked as the Vice President of Clinical Integration and the Medical Director of Geriatrics and Lifelong Health at Riverside Health System. An invited consultant on Medicare policy, Dr. Allen also served as a Policy Fellow for the 2020-2021 Health and Aging Policy Fellowship Program.

Dr. Allen’s expertise has led him to become nationally recognized for his leadership in the development and implementation of innovative models of geriatric care spanning population health, community integration, interprofessional practice, chronic illness management, transitional care, and patient safety.

Throughout his career, Dr. Allen has served on several boards and national committees and has had numerous faculty appointments. A published principal investigator with seven-figure federal and local grant awards, he has helped grow grant funding at several research centers by 200 percent. His innovative programs have been recognized nationally by U.S. News & World Report, Advisory Board, and Commonwealth Fund.
